Winter slowdown of Denver metro’s housing market still has many options

Sellers in the Denver area are becoming more flexible, with many offering concessions as new listings dropped 41% in November to 2,700 homes. Despite this decline, active listings remain about 40% higher than last year, with homes taking longer to sell, averaging 29 days on the market. Prices fell nearly 2%, but the median sales price increased by 3% from the previous year. Economic uncertainty is influencing buyer and seller behavior, with many waiting for the spring selling season. Opportunities for buyers include higher inventory and reduced competition.
